We are looking for a motivated Linux developer who works well independently in a collaborative environment. You will play a key role in developing and enhancing communication and e-mail capabilities for a new power quality measurement tool, working collaboratively on a team with hardware and software engineers.

JOB DUTIES:

  1. Developing embedded software in a Linux environment
  2. Writing Embedded C Programs
  3. Linux service configuration
  4. Familiarity with Communication Protocols including HTTP, SNMP, Email Protocols and Modbus

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. BSEE, BSCS, or BSCPE degree
  2. 0-5 years’ experience in Embedded Linux Platforms
  3. Demonstrated software programming proficiency
  4. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  5. Enjoy working in a collaborative, team environment
  6. Ability to work well independently
  7. Proficient in C
  8. Must be authorized to work in the United States

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Exposure to electrical power systems
  2. Experience in ARM processors, TI digital signal processors and TI micro-controllers
  3. Exposure to security design in an embedded system, including HTTPs, FTPS, etc.
