Channel and Market Analyst

Position Type: Full time (Exempt status)

General Summary: The Channel and Market Analysts will play an integral role in defining and setting the Marketing targets, objectives and overall execution of the Marketing plan.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct primary and secondary research to understand market and competitive drivers, and to help develop targeted marketing campaigns and highly targeted content, by:
    1. Identify size and trends of power/power quality/energy management verticals
    2. Identify competitors across various verticals
    3. Identify top verticals with power/power quality/energy measurement needs in US, and by continent (inside and outside the box)
    4. Identify target customers within each vertical
    5. Identify trade publications and media organizations, and staff, covering target markets/customers
    6. Identify Analysts covering target markets/customers
    7. Conduct SWOT analysis of competitors
  2. Determine and recommend strategic research activities, and ad-hoc research projects
  3. Determine, establish, monitor and maintain industry information sources; news, research reports, trade pubs, analyst reports and competitor intelligence and develop process for sharing knowledge internally
  4. Develop regular process for reporting key market, and competitive news internally
  5. Develop and maintain trade publication editorial calendar
  6. Develop and curate list of applicable award opportunities, deadlines and deliverables
  7. Identify trade shows attended by target customers, competitors and members of the media
  8. Curate list of applicable events for attending/speaking/exhibiting
  9. Travel for business needs including to manage trade show and other industry events
  10. Develop and manage relationships and activities with research agencies and service providers
  11. Ensure accuracy of internal databases working with the Sales and Marketing team
  12. Develop plan and create content with Technical Writer for inclusion in industry reports
  13. Lead webinar and content development based on research findings
  14. Analyze current Channel Partner program for improvements in US and abroad:
    1. Create / edit / file contracts
    2. Take a leading role in tracking sales goals and quotas to ensure compliance
    3. Lead training and marketing support for new and existing Partners
    4. Lead Symposium support, and develop content
    5. Lead Channel Partner website automation to alleviate internal resources from manual, non-value-add work and implement analytics for better insight of user activity
    6. Establish and sustain relationships and marketing reciprocity
  15. Determine and evaluate new ways to generate revenue
  16. May need to drive/run errands for PSL so must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and valid CA driver’s insurance
  17. Duties as assigned or determined. PSL is a rapidly growing company and you will be asked to do other tasks

Job Qualifications:

  1. Background working in similar role in the power/energy/cleantech industry a must
  2. Work Experience: 2-5 years in a similar role
  3. Education: Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration degree preferred)
  4. MLA/MBA degree a plus
  5. Existing relationships with trade, media and analyst community a plus
  6. Ability to speak another language, always a plus

General Summary: The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a variety of creative assets, in an effort to provide consistent branding for PSL, and to support the overall execution of the Marketing plan.

  1. Collaborate with Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Product and other departments, as well as outside vendors to produce, edit and maintain a variety of creative assets, both digital and print
  2. Develop a plan and timetable for asset delivery to meet company needs

    4. Electrical wiring templates

Marketing Coordinator

Position Type: Full time (Non-exempt status)

General Summary: The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day Marketing tasks, to ensure that all deadlines and deliverables are met, and to support the overall execution of the Marketing plan.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with email campaign execution via MailChimp / Salesforce CRM
  2. Update website content via WordPress CMS
  3. Establish and provide regular reporting on web lead activity and funnels via Google Analytics, and other tools
  4. Provide recommendations on ways to optimize user experience, and shorten the sales cycle
  5. Ensure web automation and reporting functionality between website, email and CRM programs
  6. Edit and prepare presentations for prospects, customers, and other audiences
  7. Provide graphic design support via Adobe InDesign
  8. Assist with event and trade show planning and administration (manage deadlines, deliverables, shipping, and lead reporting)
  9. Assist with filing, faxing, printing, and other organizational tasks
  10. Keep records of all Sales & Marketing expenses and help with monthly budget reconciliations
  11. Keep track of, and organize the Marketing calendar and files
  12. Provide manufacturing literature support and fulfil all internal/external collateral requests
  13. Manage inventory for all collateral, promotional items, client gifts, and demo equipment
  14. Act as a liaison between company and vendors
  15. Order and maintain Sales & Marketing supplies
  16. Collect background information for projects as needed
  17. Provide back-up support for office Administrative Assistants with the following
  18. Will run errands by car for PSL - must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and valid CA driver’s insurance

Administrative Assistant to the Sales Team

Position Type: Full time (Non-exempt status)

General Summary: The Sales Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day sales functions, providing support to the Sales team and PSL customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Provide Sales & Marketing phone customer service support (phone, email, etc.)
  2. Arrange lunches/dinners for Sales & Marketing meetings
  3. Assist with Sales & Marketing team calendar and travel planning
  4. Help manage Global VP of Sales calendar
  5. Reconcile travel business expenses for Global VP of sales
  6. Record and maintain sales order information in Salesforce
  7. Make sure that all RFQs are answered with a quote on the same day
  8. Provide support for domestic/international customers and partners

  11. Provide inside sales support (email, phone)
  12. Provide support to Office Administrative Assistants
