Announcement from Power Standards Lab Date: November 7, 2002 Contact: Alex McEachern President Power Standards Lab ++1-510-658-9600 FAX ++1-510-658-9688 e-mail: Alex@PowerStandards.com http://www.PowerStandards.com Head: Bad quality power in a box The new Sag / Swell / Impulse generator, SSI-480V-200A from Power Standards Lab, makes bad quality power. Design engineers can use it to test their products to see how they will behave in the real world. "We can make Korean-quality power, Russian submarine power, whatever you need," says PSL's Alex McEachern. The new three-phase generator is the most powerful portable disturbance generator available, handling up to 480V nominal at up to 200 amps per phase. The compact size is the result of several new patent-pending technologies, says McEachern. The new instrument is optimized for the semiconductor industry standard SEMI F47, but also handles a wide variety of other standards, including CE requirements, IEC, CBEMA, ITIC, and MIL STDs. Depending on features, prices range from $30k to $66k, including software. The generators are available now. For more information, see http://PowerStandards.com/SagGen.htm --- end ---
